RCP Summer Theater Camp 2015 was a huge success. This tuition free camp, open to 40 children, was an important component of the “Heritage Tourism: Telling Estill County’s Story” project made possible with funding through the 2015 KY-ARC Flex-E-Grant Program, administered by Brushy Fork Institute at Berea College. Flex-E-Grant funds are made available to economically distressed ARC counties in Kentucky for projects that build local Capacity.

Camp concluded on Friday evening, July 17th, as 36 campers performed in “Nothing To Do In This Town”; an original short play by Estill Countian, Donna Crow. “Nothing To Do In This Town” gave campers an opportunity to share Estill County historical “facts”, and perform traditional musical and dance numbers for a large audience.
